EDITH STEIN – A GLITTERING GEM HIDDEN IN CHEMNITZ

A performance of the Wrocław chamber  ensemble Trio Versatile ( www.trioversatile.pl) with a repertoire oscillating around Jewish music from the virtuoso klezmer project Wrocław Klezmer Trio.

The ensemble was awarded the 1st prize for the performance of Fantasia on themes from the musical Fiddler on the Roof at the 5th International Online Music Competition in Lugano – Switzerland in the chamber music category in December 2023.

The repertoire of Jewish music from the Wrocław Klezmer Trio project was successfully performed at many places,  also at the theaters in Zittau and Kamenz  at the invitation of the Gerhard Hauptmann Theater  Görlitz.

The concert of Trio Versatile will inaugurate the opening of the Exhibition Edith Stein –  A GLITTERING GEM HIDDEN IN CHEMNITZ which will be open to the public to 10.07 – 17.07.  2025 at  St Johanniskirche  in Chemnitz.
