Dr. Jadwiga Guerrero van der Meijden – For for her long-standing scientific and research activities dedicated to the life and writings of Edith Stein – Saint Teresa Benedicta of the Cross in Poland and abroad, and for popularising her spiritual legacy through her own publications, translations, studies and editions
for her engagement in the activities of the International Edith Stein Society (IASPES) and her active presence in global events and processes related to the legacy of the Co-Patroness of Europe
for her active and creative work on the Scientific Council of the Edith Stein Association in Wrocław, her participation in conferences and recurring events, for inspiring and co-organizing the lecture series “Writings of the Patroness” (Pisma Patronki) and for the scholarly editing of the volume “Writings of Edith Stein: Studies and Analyses” (Pisma Edyty Stein. Studia i analizy) – a monograph from 2023.
Monsignior Antoni Zając – For his efforts in building the church and organising the parish community – by a special papal indult – the first parish in the world dedicated to Blessed Sister Teresa Benedicta of the Cross – Edith Stein in Lublinec – Steblów
for thirty years of care for the temple – a place of special worship and for the successful efforts to grant it the status of the Sanctuary of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross by decision of the ordinary of the diocese of Gliwice, bishop Jan Kopiec
for his long-standing efforts to place the town of Lublinec under the patronage of St. Edith Stein, crowned with the approval of Pope Benedict XVI in 2008
for promoting the cult of the Saint Co-Patroness of Europe and for his work in the Lublinec branch of the Edith Stein Association.
Dr. Marek Mutor – For supporting the promotion of the person and thoughts of Edith Stein – St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross by accepting and establishing the cultural programme ‘The legacy of Edith Stein’ through institutional subsidies from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the city of Wrocław in the years 2019-2025, thanks to which the Edith Stein Association has created and makes available to visitors a permanent exhibition, organises scientific conferences, concerts and educational programmes
for the initiative and implementation of the Edith Stein year celebrations in Wrocław in 2022 and for supporting and promoting many attractive events and projects of local and international scope.
Edith Stein Archivs zu Köln -For recovering, restoring, compiling and carefully storing the priceless manuscripts, family photographs and documents of Edith Stein – Sister Teresa Benedicta of the Cross
for making their sources available and sharing their own research
and also
for initiating a forum for the exchange of ideas through international scientific meetings dedicated to the Co-patron Saint of Europe and her legacy.
